Meet Malcolm

Malcolm has over 30 years of experience in state and local tax consulting, specializing in multistate sales/use taxes. Malcolm's industry specialty is the technology sector (software-as-a-service, e-commerce) but also extends to traditional manufacturing and service industries.

Areas of expertise include Wayfair threshold analysis and NEXUS studies, taxability matrices, liability accrual calculation, voluntary disclosures (VDAs), mergers and acquisition due diligence, state exam assistance/defense and transactional analysis.

Malcolm is a frequent speaker and course instructor in the area of sales/use taxation of cloud-based services. Malcolm is a California CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
